Class Experience

A fun introduction to contemporary dance for movers of all levels! Contemporary Fundamentals introduces young dancers to the basic principles of modern and contemporary dance techniques, including suspension, contraction, release, floorwork, musicality, dynamic expression and improvisation. Students will develop knowledge of musicality and movement terminology, and will acquire developmentally appropriate technical skills while building strength and flexibility.

This class is being planned as an in person experience with limited capacity. This is subject to change based on CDC guidelines. Drop-ins will be available closer to the start of the Summer trimester, as space allows.
