Class Experience

This intermediate level class is ideal for students who have taken at least 1-2 years of modern or contemporary dance classes. Students will continue to refine their strength, release, groundedness and suspension, while further developing their technical skills, knowledge of terminology, musicality and spatial awareness. Note that this is an open Dancewave Company Program class, all are welcome to join.

This class is being planned as an in person experience with limited capacity. This is subject to change based on CDC guidelines. Drop-ins will be available closer to the start of the Fall trimester, as space allows.

Following New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s Emergency Executive Order 225, Dancewave will require proof of COVID-19 vaccination and valid identification upon entering the facility for all staff, interns, volunteers and patrons ages 12 and older. Virtual participation is available for those interested, regardless of vaccination status.
