Youth Hip Hop for 7- to 12-year-olds is the perfect drop-off class for passionate and developing dancers! Over the course of the session, students will learn and build upon Hip Hop technique and choreography in a fun and encouraging environment. Dancers will practice contemporary Hip Hop movement to upbeat, popular music while improving upon rhythm, flexibility, coordination, and improvisation. Students will also gain vital social-emotional skills as they engage in team building exercises, explore self-expression prompts, navigate choice-based improvisational activities, and build creative confidence. No special dress is required for this program, however students are encouraged to wear gym shoes and clothes they are comfortable moving in. Family and friends will be invited to celebrate their dancer's hard work in a showcase at the end of the session.
