Jr. Ballet for 5- to 7-year-olds is an excellent drop-off class for new and returning students at any skill level! This program follows a traditional ballet class format and introduces young dancers to the fundamentals of the style while building strength, flexibility and agility. Over the course of the session, students will tap into social-emotional learning as they engage in team building exercises, explore self-expression prompts, navigate choice-based improvisational activities, grow awareness in technical and choreography practice, and work to build creative confidence. No special dress is required in this program, however students are welcome to wear ballet leotards, tights and slippers. Family and friends will be invited to celebrate their dancer's hard work in a final showcase at the end of the session.
