Beginner Ballet for 3- to 5-year-olds is a drop-off class that's a great introduction for new and returning students who love to dance! This program follows a traditional ballet class format and introduces young dancers to ballet basics while growing independence, self-expression and community. Over the course of the session, students will engage in social-emotional learning as they play in ballet movement games; strengthen individual gross-motor skills; enhance memory function through group technical practice; self manage in improvisational activities; and activate free choice, self-expression and creative confidence. No special dress is required in this program, however students are welcome to wear ballet leotards, tights and slippers. Family and friends will be invited to celebrate their dancer's hard work in a final showcase at the end of the session.
