Hip Hop is an excellent class for new and returning students who love to dance! This program follows the structure of a Hip Hop dance class and introduces young dancers to the basics of Hip Hop and Pop Music style while growing independence, self-expression and community. Over the course of the session, students will engage in social-emotional learning as they play in contemporary movement games; strengthen individual gross-motor skills; enhance memory function through group technical practice; self manage in improvisational activities; and activate free choice, self-expression and creative confidence.
