You have five senses that work together to let you see, hear, smell, taste, and touch the world around you. Animals use their senses just as much as we do. Sometimes, though, they use them in a unique way. Did you know butterflies smell with their antennae and taste with their feet? Is that how you smell and taste? Campers will have lots of fun exploring nature using our senses in ways that are new and different. Many animals also have enhanced senses that help them to survive in their habitat. Bats have excellent hearing, snakes have strong sense of smell and birds have strong vision. What is your best sense?
