Class Experience

Join us as we enjoy three afternoons of "Glow in the Dark" art projects. Each afternoon will bring 4 art projects. It will be like no other you have experienced. We will experience some fun and illuminating times using paint, markers, oil pastels and a few  surprise supplies that will glow and shine under the coolest of lights. This special camp is a favorite you really won’t want to miss! Bring a snack to enjoy! Instructors: Kyndal Hoppe, Cheryl Spain, Emily Odom and Erin Latham

Meet your Instructors

Kyndal H.

Kyndal received her Bachelor of Art degree from Cameron University. She has been a part of FAI for over 4 years. Teaching AIS, classes, and art camps. She enjoys sharing her artistic talents, enthusiasm and creativity with her students. Currently, Kyndal is a middle school art teacher with the Putnam City Schools.

Erin L.

Erin Latham is an installation artist, printmaker, and writer, living and working in Oklahoma. She received her Bachelors of Fine Art from the University of Oklahoma in 2008, Masters of Fine art from the Pratt Institute in 2012, and her PhD in Art Theory, Aesthetics, and Philosophy at the Institute of Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts. She has a passion for sharing art with others and has been a teaching artist for ten years.

Emily O.

Emily Odom is an artist and educator living in Yukon, Oklahoma. She teaches art at Mustang High School as well as classes and camps at The Edmond Fine Arts Institute. Emily has her Bachelor of Art in Education from the University of Central Oklahoma and is currently working towards her Masters in Studio art (primarily painting and drawing) at the Florence Academy where she'll spend extensive time studying abroad in Florence, Italy.

Cheryl S.

Cheryl Spain is a teacher with the Art in Schools Program. She is a long time educator of young children and never grows tired of helping students discover a love of art and fostering their personal creativity. She understands the important benefits that art education provides in a child's personal development, and the confidence it can bring. Cheryl enjoys watching her student's confidence grow each week as she shares her passion for creativity.
