Students will experience chemical processes as they create their own art using materials such as paint, clay, watercolors, and chalk. Once they have created their own materials, they get to learn from experts how to turn them into masterpieces! While this is an art themed camp, students will be focusing on the chemical reactions and changes that occur throughout the supply making process, while also learning some of the methods that ancient civilizations used to create their art. Students will walk away from this program with a better understanding of basic chemistry, as well as their very own artwork to take home!
