Monthly Group Horseback Riding Lessons – Rocking Horse Ranch

Our monthly group horseback riding lessons at Rocking Horse Ranch provide students with a consistent, hands-on equine experience in a small group setting. Students attend one group lesson per week, where they learn foundational horsemanship skills in a safe, structured, and encouraging environment.

Lessons focus on horse safety, grooming, tacking, balance, posture, and riding techniques, with progression based on skill level and confidence. Students also learn responsibility, patience, communication, and respect for animals while building confidence both in and out of the saddle.

Group lessons are led by experienced instructors and designed to support beginners through advancing riders. Each session encourages teamwork, personal growth, and skill development while allowing students to learn alongside peers.

This program is Step Up for Students approved and counts as an enrichment activity that supports physical education, life skills, and character development.
