Class Experience
Our Adult Beginner Sewing Class is an 8 week course. The class is designed with beginner in mind. Our hands on approach to teaching will guide you in learning to use a sewing machine, from threading to sewing a straight line. We create 6 projects during this course. Materials for the first 4 projects is inlcuded in the price of the course.

- Pillow
- Pot Holder
- Zipper Pouch
- Neck Pillow
- Simple Tote*
- PJ Shorts*

- Materials for the first 4 projects are included. 1/2 Yard Lining Fabric, 1/2 Yard Exterior Fabric, 1 yard Pellon 808 fusible interfacing for Tote Bag. 2-3 yards for PJ Shorts

Markea S.
Markea is a graduate of North Carolina Central University with a BS in Textile and design. She serves as a tailor for a public safety company. While helping the men and women in uniform, Markea enjoys teaching beginners sewing, garment making, and draping.
