Participants work with their classmates and the instructor during class in an immersion setting towards an intermediate listening, speaking, reading, and writing ability; all class activities are conducted primarily in German. The two B1-level courses are for those who are looking to learn German in a formal setting.



Those who fully participate in and complete B1.1 and B1.2 for 2 semesters each, and multiple semesters of B1+, typically over the span of 5 - 6 semesters in total, will ideally be prepared for the B1 Goethe Exam, recognized globally as proof of German language ability.
