Have a budding comedian in your house? Comedy writer Wendi Aarons will focus on campers’ comic voices to produce funny characters, write jokes, parody commercials, memes, and skits. Campers who have completed level one are free to return to this camp. All campers will be published in the Girls With Pens Anthology (included in the price of the camp) and on the blog.

Wendi Aarons is an award-winning humor writer who has written and created for outlets such as US Weekly, Nickelodeon, Lifetime TV, and Esther’s Follies. She was named Funniest Parenting Blogger by Parents Magazine and is a frequent contributor to McSweeneys Internet Tendency. She has also written a middle-grade novel about Ginger, a girl comedian, that will be published in the near future.
