This program is designed to prepare your toddlers for the fundamentals of PreK. All children are different and for some the idea of PreK can become overwhelming and scary. Imagine a program that allows your child to gently transition into the world of education with a positive and confident eagerness all while getting a head start in learning the building blocks of their academics.
This program serves as a soft introduction to the schooling environment. The instructor will provide all necessary learning materials and tools as well as a solid curriculum catered to the group's scholastic level. In addition to the basic foundations, daily lessons incorporate but are not limited to arts & crafts, social skill development, classroom etiquette, cultural education, dancing & singing!
Each class will be broken up into several short intervals in order to keep up with the pace of the students as well as their developing attention spans. Within each interval the instructor will cover an array of fun activities that incorporate the basic fundamentals of Pre-K such as numbers, letters, shapes, etc. Each class will differ in content from day to day. Among the list of activities you'll see are painting, story time, music, show & tell, just to name a few. The students will learn about seasonal topic along with holidays and so much more!
Miss Lynn has been teaching young scholars for over 10 years both in the private and public school systems. She graduated in 2006 from Kean University with a degree in secondary Education. Her love for children led her to the Pre-K level where she developed a fun and effective home-schooling program in 2009. After several years of success Miss Lynn and Hudson's House of Play are collaborating to introduce an exciting new program that offers both a learn and play experience.
