Description
Social Skills Group for children on the autism spectrum or other developmental abilities is a 1 hr 15 minutes session with up to 6 children run by 2 Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA's). The focus will be on teaching skills using Skinner's analysis of verbal behavior and other strategies using Applied Behavior Analysis. The focus of the program will include: verbal behavior, following group directions, imitating peers, play skills, peer interaction, eye contact and waiting and taking turns. For ages 2-8.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
• 1 hour 15 minute sessions with 4-6 children run by 1 BCBA and 1 certified teacher
• Children ages ranging between 2-8 years
• Each semester will be 6 classes (1 class a week)
• Focus will be on teaching social skills using innovative Applied Behavior Analysis tools.

Registration includes an hour of open play before or after class.
