From January-June the ICS Chorus will have a fun-filled semester featuring a potential trip to a local Brooklyn school where the chorus will be adjudicated and rated by a fellow music educator. The chorus will also have the incredible opportunity to go behind-the-scenes of a Broadway show, then attend a workshop by the show's cast members before getting to see the show on Broadway. We will hopefully be able to give-back this spring and perform for the residents of a nearby nursing home, and will end the semester with our Annual Chorus Concert.

Students are required to attend either Tuesday or Wednesday chorus; please do not sign your child up for both.
Your child will learn about singing in a healthy, in-tune, legato (a smooth and connected tone), and expressive way, and definitely have fun doing it:)
Snack Time*: 3:45-4PM
Rehearsals at 9 Hanover: 4PM-5PM

Music is a community effort that requires the respect and teamwork of all involved in order to have successful music-making. Students who are not able to follow the rules listed below will be asked to withdraw from Chorus and will be given a refund of the remaining classes:
1. Be kind to one another.
2. Always listen to the teacher.
3. Take care of the music room and everything in it.
4. Keep your body to yourself
5. Always try your best and never give up.
