Do you want your child to travel the world? Do you want them to explore new cultures, customs, languages, and art? Children will have the opportunity to read stories from different lands, sample traditional foods from various countries, learn greetings, and learn about the world with hands-on activities. In the past children have made henna hands from India, learned about Japanese warriors and practiced being a ninja, read about the Brazilian rainforest and created a diorama, built towers out of marshmallows (France), learned about the cultivation of vanilla beans (Madagascar), and completed many other activities. I look forward to exploring all the fascinating places in the world with your children!
The class runs 4-5:15pm. Please note that there is no class: 9/20, 10/11, 11/1, 11/29.
Please note: if your child took this class last year some of the activities might be the same - but I am sure they will be just as enjoyable!
The FO is offering scholarships - please reach out to them ASAP if you would like to apply for one so the class doesn't fill up.
• Please send a snack for your child to eat while they wait for afterschool to start. Please do not send any snacks containing nuts.
