Class Experience

We're searching for the next generation of IndyKids youth reporters! IndyKids is the nation's first social justice oriented free newspaper and online teaching tool written by and for kids ages 10-14. In the IndyKids Journalism Youth Summer Camp, students are guided through an in-depth exploration of media literacy and learn how to become critical journalists. Our summer camp offers a deep dive into the world of journalism with an emphasis on culture and activism. It's the perfect opportunity for kids to build on skills for researching, interviewing, on-the-ground reporting, photography and art research. Want to write about the news of the world, culture, art, music, sports, the environment, or activism? This is the camp for you.
