Students are taught step-by-step techniques using pencil, pastel, acrylics, clay, as well as other mixed media, focusing on light/shadow, color, composition, form, and perspective. This is a broad class designed to introduce young students to a wide range of art forms and styles through Art History, encouraging self-confidence and allowing them to find their strengths and interests.
