Description
The Dalcroze Rhythmic- Solfège sequence provides all of the necessary building blocks to achieve success with any instrument. Rhythmic Solfège builds on the principles of learning music through movement with the addition of focused musical study on keyboard percussion; the end goal of the sequence is comprehensive musicianship!
This is a process-oriented program using the Dalcrozian tenants of joy, discovery and experiential education as its foundation, and delving into musical subjects and literature.
With the same principles and foundation as Dalcroze Eurhythmics, Rhythmic Solfège is designed to increase coordination, spatial awareness, flexibility, focus, emotional knowledge, and vocal precision.
We are grateful to The Dalcroze School of the Rockies for providing their curriculum for all of our Rhythmic Solfège classes. www.dalcrozeschooloftherockies.com
