Suzuki Piano combines Suzuki-style learning with our Rhythmic Solfège curriculum to guide students in learning piano quickly.
The Suzuki method is all about nurturing a student in learning music through a mother tongue approach that emphasizes "beautiful tone, beautiful heart" and that "every child can" https://suzukiassociation.org/about/suzuki-method/
In Dalcroze Eurhythmics, we focus on developing the first instrument, the body, in order to facilitate ease at our musical instruments, which are just an extension of our bodies. In the Suzuki pedagogy and philosophy, Dr. Suzuki points out that every child posses a high potentiality that can be developed through education. Music is a language, and if we fill our lives with this language, just like our mother-tongue language, we can become experts in the language of music.
Suzuki Piano students must be concurrently enrolled in Rhythmic Solfège I or Rhythmic Solfège II.
