Description

Would you like to become a stronger singer? How about really developing those acting skills? Nothing is better than weekly sessions to help a performer grow and develop a great base in technique! We know that sometimes performers would like to try out lessons to see if it's a good fit, and our Holiday 4-Pack is a great way to find out what lessons are all about! Students who register for a Holiday 4-Pack have been given a special reduced rate of 25% off our normal lesson rate for these four weeks.
Please choose your time slot. This will be your lesson day and time for each of the 4 weeks starting in January 2021. You will be sent a Zoom link upon registration. Please be sure to log in on time each week as there will be no make up lessons offered.

DETAILS & FAQs ABOUT PRIVATE/SEMI-PRIVATE LESSONS
Description:
For students who want the consistency of weekly sessions and are looking for a solid base in technique. If you enjoy your 4-Pack we would encourage you to consider signing up for the remainder of the school year! For students who register for the school year, Private/Semi-Private Lessons run September-June and we offer rolling enrollment through mid-April.

FAQs
Q: What are the tuitions/fees for Private/Semi-Private Lessons?
A: Here is the pricing breakdown for various options:
ANNUAL FEES
- $25 Registration Fee (per family)
- $40 Student Bank (per student)
TUITION
- Private Lessons: $125/mo per student/per discipline
- Semi-Private Lessons: $93/mo per student/per discipline
- 45-minute Lessons: $185/mo (Private); $138/mo (Semi-Private)
- Double Lesson of one hour: $225/mo (Private); $183/mo (Semi-Private)
Q: How frequently are lessons held and how long do they run?
A: Lessons are held once a week for the duration of the school year (mid-September through mid-June). A standard lesson runs 30 minutes per week, barring holidays, but there are also options to extend lessons to 45 minutes or one hour if scheduling allows.
Q: Can I/my student take both Acting and Voice during one lesson slot?
A: Acting and Voice are currently scheduled as separate discipline time slots as this allows for more focused, higher quality training. Voice lessons do touch upon a bit of acting training as part of the curriculum, but do not delve deeply. If you have a student who is very interested in strengthening skills as both an actor and a singer we highly recommend booking separate lessons for Acting and Voice.
Q: Do I need to find my own lesson partner if I am interested in Semi-Private Lessons?
A: Yes. If you wish to enroll in Semi-Private Lessons you must find your own lesson partner, who must then be registered separately before lessons may begin.
Q: Is there currently an option for in-person lessons?
A: Not at the moment. As of September 2020, all KPA lessons, rehearsals, classes, and activities will take place online via ZOOM.
Q: What is the "Student Bank" Fee that is required?
A: The Student Bank is what allows us to supply your performer with the necessary curriculum for lessons. All KPA Private/Semi-Private students receive a binder for their lessons and throughout the year will receive sheet music, music tracks, acting scripts, worksheets, workbooks, and various other curriculum items. The Student Bank is convenient as it allows us to fully provide what your student will need without putting the pressure on families to purchase each individual item along the way!
