There are animals EVERYWHERE! Join our team on a zoo-like adventure as we investigate how to draw and create some of our favorite different animals! We will explore our common, household pets, Zoo and Farm animals, as well as animals only found in the wild! We will also learn all about these different creatures!
WHO Can attend this camp? This camp is for students aged 3-6. Each piece of artwork is simplified, modified, or challenged depending on the age of the child. Students must be able to use the restroom independently to attend this camp. Students who attend camp, and are not potty trained will be asked to attend a future class and will be disenrolled. KidzArt IS NOT a daycare service, but we are enthusiastic about enriching all ages. If you are not sure if this is the right fit for your child, please give us a call! Please send students with an extra pair of clothes (accidents happen, and that's okay!)
WHO is teaching? Asia Di Antonio and Daniel Stock(Owners) will be monitoring camp activities at the art studios daily. Each camp will also have one certified instructor or Lab teacher, as well as Jr. helpers (Volunteer program with ages 13-18) who will also be Jr. Certified! Kids will be monitored at our safe studio/lab location or the entire camp day.
WHEN does Camp run? This Camp will run 3/13-3/17
Camp starts at 9 am and ends at 2 pm every day except for FRIDAY (usually ending at 2:30 to 2:45 a lot for ohana to walk through our weekly art gallery) Lunchtime is tentatively set at around 12 pm every day. Students must bring their own home lunch and snack every day BUT FRIDAY (Pizza is provided on gallery days!) If your child has any food allergies, please let us know ahead of time.
Morning and aftercare will be provided this year by the certified instructors. Prices are available upon checkout. Morning care will be from 8 am to 9 am (drop off any time between) Aftercare is from 2 pm-5 pm (Pick up any time) During these times students will have snack time (pm), free play/art, and guided games and activities.
WHAT should the students bring to camp? Every day students should bring a water bottle and snack. There is no water fountain on-site, and KidzArt and Club Sci are not authorized to provide snacks for children. We also prefer that lunches and snacks that come to our studio are NUT FREE.
If lunch is FORGOTTEN and parents are not able to get lunch for their child, lunch will be provided via Timmy T’s Gourmet Grinders (either a turkey or Ham sandwich and chips) There will be a $10 Charge for this Lunch. THIS IS NOT A LUNCH SERVICE and is only used for instances where lunch can’t be provided for the child, KidzArt/ Club Sci understands that every child should eat, and will accommodate as needed.
Students attending camp should wear clothing that can get messy and run around as well. All art/ science supplies are included in camp, so everything else can stay at home!
WHERE is camp? Camp has operated out of St. Christopher’s Church for the last 6 years, and we will continue to use this space for our camps! We are so grateful for the wonderful, nurturing space the church has provided. Camps are in the back of the church in the “Library” and Room 102, as well as the "nursery". All rooms are easy to spot when driving to the back of the parking lot. Each room has large glass double sliding doors. Check-in for camps will take place on the front lanai. Camp art projects will be in the rooms, Snack and lunch are on the back lanai and grassy areas.
St. Christopher’s has both a ladies and men's restroom right next to the classrooms, as well as the use of the “Nursery room” for our “as-needed” Heath Room. For a tour of the facility, please contact us to set up an appointment.
KidzArt and Club Scientific have a very strict Cancelation Policy.
