Class Experience

Kids Yoga classes are fun classes that seem more like playtime to the kids than yoga. Our qualified Kula Yoga Kids instructors will take the kids through a series of yoga poses all the while teaching them to connect with their inner peace. This is done through yoga postures, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices. This is a 45 minute class once weekly held on school premises. It is open ONLY to the kids of the school where it is located. Kids should come in comfortable clothes with a water bottle and yoga mat. (Mats for sale online or on site with instructor for $20 each, carrying straps for $10). Instructor will bring a few  rental mats for students who forgot theirs, but it is recommended for them to bring their own.

Notes

Kids should wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move around in. School uniforms are fine. Please send a yoga mat and water bottle if attending a live class. (Yoga mats available for purchase as an add-on item for $20. Instructors will bring mats to school for kids to pick out and will store them at the school if you wish). We look forward to the opportunity to share yoga with your family.

Meet your Instructors

Michele F.

Michele’s classes are fun while therapeutic, informational and experiential in nature. Each session is a guided journey through the body, using the breath, and inviting the mind to align, creating union of the three. She loves teaching both aerial yoga & kids yoga as they are practices of connecting to the inner child within us all, inviting play and joy in, lighting the path to our own divinity. For it is not a matter of if magic exists or not, it’s that we search.

Ann B.

Ann has been practicing yoga 20+ years but found her home with Kula Yoga when it first opened in the Pavilion in Port Orange in 2011. The Kula community of teachers and practitioners were welcoming and inspiring. This atmosphere instigated a burning desire to find out more about yoga by entering the Yoga Teacher Training at Kula. Ann became a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance in 2015... See www.KulaYogaKids.com for Ann's full bio.
