Summer Series: Week 5
pre-k - 3rd grade
Description
The League of Young Inventors teams up with the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music to create a whole new sound! From woodwinds to electronic beats, kids will design and build instruments out of recyclable and unexpected objects creating a full orchestra of original instruments. A banjo made of rubber bands and saran wrap — why not! Half-way through the day, two guest musicians from BKCM will join in on the fun and help young inventors play and compose for their original instruments! A final concert will showcase the students work. No prior music or composition skills necessary.
