BIG KID BANDSTAND
UKULELE, SPEECH and LANGUAGE ENRICHMENT + MORE!
2.5 Years -5 Years
Big Kid Bandstand is a 45 minute class for ages 2.5 years-5 years that continues to build on speech and language skills through music. Each child brings his or her own ukulele to play during class as we slowly introduce basic chords and strumming. This class helps children gain confidence, encourages teamwork with bandmates, introduces basic musical terms and various musical genres and has a deeper focus on speech and language development.

Big Kid Bandstand classes are made up of three sections:

Instrument exploration with the ukulele and creative musical teaching materials focusing on basic musical terms and chords.

Language and speech enrichment exercises through songs, story boards and musical book time.

A fun ukulele jam session at the end of class!

Makeup policy: Sign up for the full summer session to receive UNLIMITED makeups that may be used at any class or pop up throughout session. Makeups apply to full session students only and do not roll over to future sessions. Makeups to not apply to drop-ins or special events. To schedule makeups please email babybandstand@gmail.com

Notes:

• Each child is asked bring their own ukulele to class each week (pricing starts at $25). Parents may purchase directly from Baby Bandstand or you may purchase on your own. We are happy to recommend places to purchase!
