What is street art? What is graffiti? Campers will learn about the history and meaning behind different forms of street art while developing their own projects that can be publicly placed. We will explore sticker making, stenciling, sculpture, and mural making.

Send your children with a nut-free lunch and snack, a water bottle, and weather-appropriate clothes.

• Getting there: • Metered street parking is available most days, and the Takoma Shopping Center parking lot (entrance next to Suntrust) is free for the first hour, $3/hour after that, with a flat rate of $2.50 on Sundays. The Farmer's Market on Sundays from 10am-2pm reduces the number of street spots available. • We are about 4 blocks from the Takoma metro (red line). •
