LMS Mobile Art Pop Ups - Policies
Little Makers Studio Mobile Pop-Up include art supplies, setup, instruction for one guided art project, and cleanup of all materials provided by LMS. These policies apply to any event held outside our studio. By booking a mobile pop up with LMS, you acknowledge and agree to the following policies.
Supervision & Safety
Mobile events are not drop-off events unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. The host/coordinator is responsible for supervising children, managing behavior, and ensuring participant’s safety. LMS instructors facilitate the art activity and provide guidance related to the safe use of art materials, but they are not responsible for childcare, bathroom assistance, behavior management, or one-on-one supervision.
All hosts must sign a liability waiver prior to the event.
Location, Setup & Access
The host is responsible for providing:
A safe, clean, and accessible event space
Adequate tables, chairs, and workspace for all participants
Any required permits, reservations, or approvals for use of the venue (including parks, apartment recreation rooms, community spaces, schools, or other public/private venues)
LMS staff must have access to the event space at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time for setup. The event location must be accessible for staff to unload and transport materials. Because our team travels by public transportation and transports materials by wagon, additional fees may apply for locations requiring extensive carrying distances, multiple flights of stairs without elevator access, or travel outside our standard service area.
Service Area

Mobile events are currently available in select Brooklyn neighborhoods near our studio, including: Prospect Heights, Clinton Hill, Fort Greene, Park Slope, Crown Heights, Boerum Hill, Downtown Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, and Gowanus.
Events outside of these neighborhoods may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis and may incur additional travel or staffing fees.

Guest Count
Mobile Party packages include up to 10 participating children. Additional guests may be added for $25 per child, and must be approved by LMS in advance.
Weather & Outdoor Events
The safety of our makers is our top priority. Little Makers Studio reserves the right to modify, relocate, postpone, or cancel activities if weather or other conditions make it unsafe to proceed.
If we need to cancel an event due to weather or unsafe conditions, we'll work with you to reschedule or provide a full refund.
Materials, Property & Cleanup
LMS will provide aprons for children and make reasonable efforts to protect event surfaces; however, art materials can be messy and may stain certain fabrics, furniture, flooring, or outdoor surfaces.
The host is responsible for protecting their property and venue surfaces and understands that LMS is not liable for incidental staining or damage resulting from the normal use of art materials.
LMS will clean up all materials supplied by LMS. Hosts remain responsible for general venue cleanup, food service cleanup, decorations, and any messes unrelated to LMS activities.
Payment, Cancellation & Overtime
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your party date. The remaining 50% balance is due 3 days before the event. We reserve the right to cancel parties without a refund, if balance is not received on time. Requests to reschedule may be accommodated at LMS's discretion and are subject to staff availability.
Additional fees may incur if the event goes over time, and is dependent on staff availability.
