Description
Travel under the big top to a world of entertainment and excitement in this circus themed camp. We will explore various mediums and oddities as we create crazy clowns, circus animals, carnival games, and oddities that will peak and ignite imagination! Each full day camp includes two main projects, one to two mini projects, games and movement. (ages entering 2nd through entering 5th)
Project Themes per Day:
Monday: Under the Big top
Tuesday: Side Shows and Games
Wednesday: Get Your Peanuts!
Thursday: Spinning Silly
Friday: Hear Me Roar
NOTE: Projects per day subject to change due to enrollment, inventory and supplies, but not to worry, your child will have fun, be engaged and challenged while they are creating wonderful projects. Photo on listing may not be representative of actual camp projects.
Please check the age requirements for camps. We cannot accept children under the age of 4. 4 year olds must be able to be in a classroom environment with up to 15 kids and be able to go to the restroom on thier own.
Enroll in the age group your child will be entering in the Fall. If you have a child that just finished Kindergarten or 5th grade, you have the choice of enrolling in the younger or older age group. Decide if your rising 1st grader is ready for full day vs. half day, or which social group your rising 6th grader does better with.
*We are sorry, but we will not be able to make exceptions for siblings to join camps together if they are not the age listed for the offering. Those going into 2nd grade may NOT join Preschool+K camps and kids must have completed Kindergarten to join 1st-5th grade camps. Thank you for understanding.
We do not provide food or sunscreen. Please provide 1 snack for half day and 2 snacks and a lunch for full day and a water bottle. Apply sunscreen before coming if you need. Kids may bring sunscreen, but they must self apply. We go outside 1-3 times a day to the adjacent green space, weather permitting for 15-30 min.
Each camp classroom has 1 lead teacher and 1 assistant assigned to the room.
Every teacher and assistant is background checked and many are CPR/First Aid certified.
We understand kids get excited about art, however, we strive to provide a calm, nurturing and fun environment for all. If a child's behavior is disrupting the class, we will first have a conversation with that child and provide quite time, fidget time or a break if needed. If the behavior persists, we will provide detailed information in writing and inform the parent/guardian of behavior at time of pickup. Please read the code of conduct in the waiver for more information.
Please read cancelation policy.
Notes:
Please bring a peanut free snack and water bottle.
