Mini Easels are a mixed media project that usually reflect the theme or purpose of the event. The studio will provide a prompt to generate inspiration for the canvas. For example, create a canvas with the music that is in your heart at the moment or create a canvas that reflects a word that best describes a positive attribute you posess. Each person is given a small canvas and easel to keep. They are given steps to create layers of different papers and items to create a picture. Supplies include the canvas and easel, Mod Podge glue and sealer, scrapbook paper, vellum, tissue paper and various other collage related materials.
