Class Experience

CMA Teaching Artist Mackie Saylor leads her popular Movement with Mackie class as part of Free Fridays, which provide free access to our most popular CMA Live! classes while amplifying important community topics.

Kids’ voices have value! In honor of heroes like the late Rep. John Lewis and young activists such as Mari Copeny and Greta Thunberg, we will explore the power of speaking up and speaking out through movement games and pantomime.

Kids — Journal or draw a picture to answer this question “What is something about being a kid that grownups just don’t understand?” Share this with a grownup in your life. Grownups — If you’re able, it’s time to get out the vote! Election Day is November 3.

How To Participate

You will receive an email 30 minutes before class starts with a link to the class and access instructions.
