Wed, Jan 6, 2021 - Jun 16, 2021
2:30pm - 3:30pm EST
Our writing workshops are designed to develop writing skills and an understanding of the writing process while also building each student's confidence and enhancing the fun in writing!
This level is recommended for children who already have some experience with reading and writing. They should be able to read / sound out and write words mostly independently.
This class will work on understanding the writing process and the rules of sentence structure, grasping the parts of a sentence and the rules of grammar mechanics, adding detail and description to a story, and much more. Each week will focus on a theme and culminate in a short piece written by your child.

Book Nook's tiered classes - Lil Hoots, Early Hoots, Pre Hoots, and Kinder Hoots - offer an age-appropriate curriculum for children from 18 months to 5 years old with a focus on handwriting, reading, and kindergarten readiness. Our Wise Owls classes are private options geared towards children in kindergarten through 3rd grade, with a focus on each student's individual reading level and progress. We also offer an array of writing and grammar workshops, book clubs, storytimes, and much more to add a touch of magic to every aspect of your little one's educational journey. Book Nook's classes are designed to challenge young learners, foster creativity, and inspire students through the wonder of words.
