Description
SCRATCH Level 1: Students are introduced to infinite design and coding possibilities using Scratch, a graphical programming language developed at MIT. With Scratch, kids learn how to code while creating computer games, animations, and interactive projects. Scratch is web-based and free to use, making it an easy option for tinkering with projects outside of class.
AGE REQUIREMENT*: Student must have turned 7 by Sept 1 in order to participate.
REQUIREMENTS: Windows or Mac PC with Webcam + Chromebook compatible!

Great intro to Scratch! While the program is user friendly, the small class size was essential. It helped keep each child on track and allow them to work at their own pace. My son spent hours outside of class working with the program just for fun!
Improvements:
More class options and times that work for families that don’t live on the east coast.

My son loved this class. He learned to do new things in Minecraft, and the instructor Brandon was really great. I love the small class size as well.
