Class Experience

Do you ever wish you had a time machine? Do you love LEGO? Us too!

Join us for this week-long virtual camp during which we will travel through time and space to explore some of the most famous cultures in history!

First, we’ll build our very own LEGO time machine. From there, we’ll take off, learning what life was like in the past and exploring architecture and culture of other cultures with LEGO.

Along the way, we’ll explore re-creations of day to day life in these societies that others have created, learn about the art, culture, and built environments created by other cultures, explore ancient and medieval cities, and more.

Throughout the week we will explore cultures & time periods such as:

Middle Ages
Ancient Egypt
Pirates & Privateers
Ancient Rome
VikingsAncient Mayans

All you’ll need for this studio is a computer or tablet with a reliable internet connection, and any LEGO you have. No specific sets or bricks are necessary.

Don’t have LEGO but still want to join in on the fun? No worries! Below are two links to programs which allow you to build with virtual “LEGO.” Participants are welcome to build with any other materials they have available!

My 8-year-old daughter loved it, and wants to sign up for more like it this summer! I am grateful for the virtual option, too.

For “pirates or Vikings” she really wanted to do Vikings.

This was the best virtual camp my child has attended! My son continued to work on his project even when the class ended each day! Moda exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend them for virtual and in person camps!

I would recommend when having to download a specific app or program, to give clear instructions on which one to choose.
