Loved:

The class has such a lovely relaxed atmosphere, making art in a small community, albeit online. My daughter has a wonderful time every time she sees her art teachers! Lessons are in-depth and often include a bit of history and art history, or even geography at times, children's creativity is engaged and nurtured, and the instructors have a system of teaching via zoom that really works.

Improvements:

More classes please! And maybe someday for older children too.

About Kismet Studio

At Kismet Studio we aim to provide a positive, creative, and expressive environment for our students. Students will have the chance to engage with other children from around the country, and have a playful and imaginative space where they can enhance and learn new art-making techniques while most importantly having fun! We also integrate subjects such as English Language Arts (ELA), science, history, and EVEN math into our weekly sessions so they not only engage in art-making but simultaneously learn educational content. Our goal is to create communities for our students that despite our physical distance allow for children to create bonds and develop their skills the same as if they were in a live classroom. We are sensitive to the current situation and strongly believe in providing all children with a safe, engaging, and creative space, where they will discover the powerful ways that art can enrich their lives.
