Class Experience

The Ouroboros have risen from the shadows into the Dim Light of Pangaea! With their recent activities in the northern countries, attempting to assassinate some of the leaders of the Grand Council of Auris. Having left a trail in their wake it is up to the party to follow the trail in order to find out more about the Ouroboros and their intentions.

We engage our participants in entertaining, collaborative storytelling through tabletop role-playing games. We focus on the social and emotional development while simultaneously presenting academic content and developing creativity, communication skills, collaboration, and critical thinking. Our participant-to-Game Master Educator ratio is limited to no greater than 5:1.

Educator-Gamemaster: Gary Pepper II

Notes

Participants will need access to a laptop, desktop or tablet computer and a high-speed internet connection. Participants will need a microphone for use with Discord, and a video camera is a nice addition. Most laptops and tablet computers come equipped with all that you need. We find that a set of headphones might also be nice to isolate the sounds coming from the computer, but are not necessary.

*SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE—contact us for info on special need-based rates and possible scholarships!

*OPEN REGISTRATION DURING TERM—you are able/encouraged to sign up for a game regardless of the point in the term as most games will continue across terms if the party desires.

Loved:

My son very much enjoys the campaigns.

Improvements:

The online format is less engaging - my son does other stuff on screens in between turns. The fact that the dates of the class are not always set (sometimes sessions are canceled with very short notice) is frustrating, especially given the expense.
