Children are preparing for FIRST® LEGO® League Explore Team Showcase in January 2022! Must have previous experience in robotics and programming. What is FIRST® LEGO® League? FIRST® LEGO® League is a mentor-based, research, and robotics program that helps kids become science and technology leaders, as well as well-rounded contributors to society. FIRST® participants develop self-confidence in STEM, meaningful relationships with mentors and friends, and valuable, real-world skills that open pathways and help young people build a better future. FIRST® combines the fun and excitement of traditional sports with the rigor of STEM learning and the inspiration that comes from the community. It's a perfect time when children are not socially interacting very much to be a part of a team-building and challenging activity! We are very excited to be a part of FIRST® this year. We are the only LEGO team in the area please don't wait to participate! Build, code, and learn with LEGO Education! In this class, children will explore the exciting world of robotics and coding in a hands-on, exploratory manner. Your child will develop thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and learn how to collaborate with others to strive to build their best creations to showcase at their FIRST Lego League!
To attend the class your child needs:
*LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Essential Set
**Laptop or tablet.
