Class Experience

Travel this summer with us through food by recreating popular dishes from some of our favorite Mediterranean countries. We'll explore the delicious eats of Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, and Israel. Kids will learn full recipes from scratch step-by-step with a chef instructor in our live, hands-on classes. The full menu for each country is located on our website. Class meets daily M-F @ 10 AM (ET) | classes are 60-min

WEEK 1: Spain (7/5 - 7/9) - Monday: Patatas Bravas, Tuesday: Romesco Sauce w/ Crispy Cauliflower Bites, Wednesday: Tortilla Espanol, Thursday: DIY Pickled Veggies & Pan Con Tomate, Friday: Oven Baked Croquetas

WEEK 2: Italy (7/12 - 7/16) - Monday: Pasta 101: Handmade Pasta | Classic Shapes, Tuesday: Lemon Ricotta Cookies, Wednesday: Stuffed Shells, Thursday: Citrus & Olive Oil Cake Muffins, Friday: Friday Pizza Party

WEEK 3: France (7/19 - 7/23) - Monday: Crepes | Sweet or Savory, Tuesday: Apple Roses with Homemade Whipped Cream, Wednesday: Quiche Lorraine w/ Homemade Pie Crust, Thursday: Profiteroles with Chocolate Sauce, Friday: Ratatouille & Dinner Rolls

WEEK 4: Greece (7/26 - 7/30) - Monday: Greek Butter Cookies, Tuesday: Tzatziki & Baked Pita Chips, Wednesday: Mini Jam Tarts (Pasta Flora), Thursday: Classic Greek Salad, Friday: Souvlaki (Meat or Veggie)

WEEK 5: Turkey (8/2 - 8/6) - Monday: Shepherd Salad & Baked Pita Chips, Tuesday: Menemen (Savory Baked Eggs), Wednesday: Make Your Own Pide (Turkish Boat-Shaped Flatbread), Thursday: Turkish Street Food (Simit) Sesame Bread Rings, Friday: Turkish “Solider Buttons” Cookies

WEEK 6: Lebanon (8/9 - 8/13) - Monday: Fatayer (Savory Baked Hand Pies), Tuesday: Lebanese-Inspired No-Churn Ice Cream (rose, orange blossom, fresh mint, etc.), Wednesday: Fattoush Salad, Thursday: DIY Za’atar Blend & Man’ouche Flatbreads, Friday: Homemade Hummus & Mezze Platter

How To Participate

Attend class via Zoom video

This class will be hosted on Zoom video conferencing platform. You will receive an email 30 minutes before class starts with a link to the class and access instructions. We recommend you make sure your device is up to date and meets all system requirements before class.

How engaged the teachers were with the kids, this was my sons first time taking a cooking class, just seeing how happy he was awesome!

I really enjoyed the presentation and patient instruction by the teacher, Ms. Cara. She was excellent 👌 and the mac and cheese 🧀 😋 recipe and additions were superb! Highly recommended!


No complaints, but I would love to have the opportunity to view the classes via recording 😀 again .

About Freshmade NYC

Freshmade offers virtual cooking classes for kids all over the world. Our mission: to teach the fundamentals of cooking while encouraging creativity, curiosity and individuality in life and in the kitchen.

We believe the more time a child spends in the kitchen, the more curious and open they become about trying new ingredients. To encourage this creativity, our virtual cooking classes are interactive, fun and created specifically to fit children from the ages of 2 to 12+. Kids will explore fun foods and beginners’ kitchen skills together, be exposed to a wide array of ingredients, spices and cuisines through our classes. Additionally, our classes incorporate components of math, reading and science.
