Materials needed: Paper, pen, pencil, and ruler!
Do you have a story to tell? Do you like to read comics/manga, draw, and/or look at art? Do you not know much about comics, but are interested? If you replied ‘yes’ to any of the previous questions, then this is the workshop for you!
In Making Comics: Basics and Techniques, you will get to learn the basics of comics, story development, drawing techniques, panel development, and even have a chance to make your own mini-comic by the end of the workshop series.
Between the provided pre-recorded content and the live sessions, this workshop will aim to help you develop a comic from scratch or help you polish a comic that you have already been working on -- while providing you a space to share, grow, and connect virtually.

Everything! The instructor is always 😎 and wonderful to us all, and she's very good at explaining techniques and let's us share too. She's very kind and patient, and is always easy to understand. Highly recommended!

I really like the instructors and the patience and support they gave us.
The class should be available more than once during the week so more children can participate.

It was loose, not strict. Upbeat.
A little more variation in the exercises.

The teacher is wonderful! So supportive of everyone, enthusiastic and shares so much of her knowledge. I’ve watched all her posted videos so far and they inspired me as well as my daughter!
Maybe more classes?

Really enjoy the teacher and class 😸! I had a blast with my first class and indeed I hope to continue to learn more about making comics as one of my favorite things to do.
It's just great 😊❤️ and no complaints. I wish we had at least ten minutes extra to share.
