Class Experience

Using curriculum from the New Hampshire Historical society, History.com, the New Hampshire History Network and more, we will delve into the origins and evolution of the Granite state. From the geological formations of the latest ice age and the first natives to arrive, to the state motto and earliest industries, to the significance of being the state where presidential candidates make their declaration, students will learn the good, the bad, and the weird about the state they call home.
Videos and reading will be assigned for homework as well as a few research and creative writing projects. This class (both semesters) will be designed to fulfill the state requirement for NH History
