First and second-grade students will enjoy building and programming a variety of kinetic projects. They will use different LEGO® parts to build robots such as a rocket ship, bunny, and soccer kicker. Children explore engineering and simple machine principles such as friction, gearing and leverage. Students will think like a programmer using the LEGO® Robotics intuitive picture-based coding software. Students will program their projects to move in accordance with sound effects and music. Students learn to build from blueprints then expand onward to customize their creations. Students are challenged with team-based tournaments that help them develop partnering skills. By the end of class, they will have developed friendships, leadership skills, and boosted their confidence.

Our core educational philosophy centers around an intimate interaction with our students. Because we know that each child learns differently and at their own pace, our 'mentors' assess and monitor your child's skill level; each class they take is matched with their skill and interests. Our curriculum and mentors focus on mastering current skills then challenge each student to get to a higher level.
Regardless of which class they take, or how many times they have taken it, our students do not repeat previous projects - they are always challenged and when they are ready they work on a new and interesting assignment.
Please remember that Robofun requires students to be provided with all utensils, water bottles, snacks and lunch for their snack and lunch times. Also, please provide sunscreen in advance for sunny days when we will go to the park at lunch time

Cancellation for onsite Robofun Programs must be made within 1 week pf the program date to receive a full refund, less a twelve percent processing fee. There are no refunds for programs cancelled less than 1 week prior to the start date.

Charlie loved building something new each day. The teacher was patient and knowledgeable and each day he left saying "Today we had fun!" The staff was awesome and kind, also very good about covid protocols.
Nothing to improve on the kids' experience end. He loves it so much.

It started on time. Activity was okay, just more beginner than anticipated.
1:1 lesson with monotone, unsmiling, autopilot instructor was unbearable Need people who have fun teaching 6/7s Fun-free and impassive, we quit after 45 minutes, I made up an excuse and said my nephew wasn’t feeling well All black background for a 10:30 with a 7y/o comes off intimidating Have parents pre-register for Scratch rather than during class Terms like X and Y coordinates are foreign to 6/7s Breaks every 20mins are ideal for this age group.

Angelica says it was fun and the instructor did a great job helping her do coding better and always talked about what she did right and how to do things better.

Jordan is a great instructor. He is knowledgeable and patient, and is guiding my son through Minecraft Creative mode while teaching him about electricity and circuitry. My son loves the class so much that we are taking it again in two weeks!

RoboFun offers dynamic workshops for children using cutting edge technologies.
