Class Experience

For singers who’d like to learn basic musical theatre dances and dancers who want to find their voices, this class will build confidence and a foundation so that students can create shows in your living room or comfortably audition for children’s theatre productions! Taught by a patient professional, Pauline Lamb, who loves to help young students just getting started onstage. This class will include creative movement activities that help build physical awareness and improve balance, and well as collaborative games to that use teamwork.

Notes

Students will have their temperatures taken upon arrival at Burgundy, and anyone with a temperature above 98.6 will not be able to join the class that week. Masks will be mandatory, and social distancing will be incorporated into the movement activities. This class will help children expand their creativity and self-expression skills in a supportive environment.

Meet your Instructor

Pauline L.

Pauline (she/her) is a performer/choreographer/designer/teacher who works throughout the DMV. Upon graduating from UNC Chapel Hill with a BA in Performance Studies, she continued her training in the area before moving to DC to pursue her career. She adores sharing her knowledge with kids, and lives for the opportunity to be a role model for children of color in the artistic world. Singing and dancing is where she feels happiest, and she can't wait to help your kids share that same happiness!
