Class Experience

It’s Halloween Week and we are celebrating with some holiday inspired eats.  Whether you are new to plant-based meals or already a seasoned pro, join us in the kitchen for crowd-pleasing #MeatlessMonday meals! Join us in our kitchen to learn how to make Spooky Sweet Potato-Black Bean Tacos and a delicious Avocado Crema to drizzle on top.  Kids will work step-by-step to create this dish from scratch with our chef instructor in this live, hands-on class.


For this class you will need: sweet potatoes, olive oil, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper, black beans, onion, lime, and your favorite corn or flour tortillas for serving.  For the crema: avocados, lime, apple cider vinegar (or sub), fresh cilantro and/or scallion, garlic, salt, avocado oil or olive oil.

Attend class via Zoom video

This class will be hosted on Zoom video conferencing platform. You will receive an email 30 minutes before class starts with a link to the class and access instructions. We recommend you make sure your device is up to date and meets all system requirements before class.

I really enjoyed the presentation and patient instruction by the teacher, Ms. Cara. She was excellent 👌 and the mac and cheese 🧀 😋 recipe and additions were superb! Highly recommended!

Improvements:

No complaints, but I would love to have the opportunity to view the classes via recording 😀 again .

Freshmade offers virtual cooking classes for kids all over the world. Our mission: to teach the fundamentals of cooking while encouraging creativity, curiosity and individuality in life and in the kitchen.
