During this popular course, participants will create their own custom mods (Minecraft character models) and then use AI (Artificial Intelligence) programming to teach the mods to respond in different situations. All this using the Java programming language. This course is suitable for both beginners and participants with programming experience.

For this course, we use the Java Edition of Minecraft. You must purchase this edition yourself to participate in the course. The price can be found on this website. You will receive instructions on how to purchase and install the Java Edition in the confirmation email.
Who can participate?
This course is suitable for anyone aged 10-13 who wants to learn the behind of the Minecraft game. Are you a little older or younger? Please contact us at email@example.com or 347-863-8700- to see if the course matches your experience.
The course is suitable for beginners with no experience, but also offers a challenge if you do have some experience. For example, if you have already gained some experience in Scratch, or have participated in other coding camps, then this course is also suitable for you! When registering, we will ask you a number of questions about your prior knowledge, to get a good idea of the levels in the group.

- Windows 7 and above or MacOS 10.9 and above
- Laptop/desktop with at least 4GB RAM (8GB RAM recommended)

Sample Class Format
- What does the course look like?
The course takes place online in Zoom. The trainers give interactive workshops. With the help of instructional videos and guidance from the trainers, you will then start programming games in breakout rooms. In addition, we start every week with an energizer, to get to know each other better. And of course, we take a break in between. On the last day of the course, there will be an online demo that you can invite family or friends so that they can see online what we have done during the course!
Our trainers are experts in programming, game building, and teaching young people, so you'll learn from the best.
Other Things To Know
Classes are non-refundable after the first session. There are no make up classes. Refunds can be done 2 weeks prior to the start of the class.
