Class Experience

Students in this class should have a mastery of basic Checkmates (RR, KQ, KR), solid understanding of pawn advantage and pawn promotion technique, steady use of opening/endgame principles, look for and regularly use “Chess Tactics” and regularly avoid hanging pieces (losing pieces for free). If they have a rating on Chess.com or a USCF Rating, it should be over 800. In this class we will focus on students and Masters game analysis. We will look for weaknesses in students games and work on making student's play more dynamic and complex. Students will work on combining tactics and strategy and planning multiple moves ahead.

We couldn't agree more, the best of both worlds. Exercise your mind and your body then cool off at the creek. We're so happy to hear the boys are having a great time!
