Come spend a long weekend with Megan Avery, longtime sewing instructor and your personal camp counselor for the weekend . She'll help you with your challenging sewing projects and take you to all her secret Catskills hikes and swimming holes when we're not sewing.

Workshops will take place in our peaceful sewing studio is set on 5 acres of natural beauty in the heart of the Catskills. Megan fell in love with this property and now lives here full time and teaches sewing here year-round.  She has converted one of the outbuildings into a cozy, open-air sewing studio (in warmer months) & invites everyone to experience it with her at Sewing Camp.

Sewing camp guests will stay in a gorgeous 6 bedroom house, set on a lake, 4 miles from the studio.

Weekend Schedule: 

Thursday 6-9pm: Arrive at Retreat House in Stamford NY
Thursday 7-9pm: Welcome Reception at Retreat House
Friday & Saturday 10am -1pm: Sewing at the Hipstitch Academy Studio
Friday & Saturday 1-2pm Lunch: Provided by Hipstitch Academy Studio
Friday & Saturday 4pm - 6pm: Nature Time
Saturday 7pm: BBQ & Bonfire
Sunday 9am: Departure
