Take a deep-dive into the incredible, awe-inspiring world of color! In this program students will experiment with color mixing, different types of paint and varied painting tools to paint, print and collage works big and small. A fusion of color palettes and a blend of styles from various contemporary artists and designers will offer regular inspiration. By the end of the week students will understand the elemental basics of design, from color theory to composition and everything in-between.
The program schedule offers:
+ Extended day options from 12–1:30pm
+ Rotating design themes led by teaching artists + professional educators
+ Daily outdoor art-making or field trips to nearby studios + galleries (weather permitting)

Please send your artist with a nut-free snack + a water bottle labeled with their name. Students attending extended day from 12–1:30pm should come prepared with a packed, nut-free lunch.
All students should wear clothes suited to getting messy and arrive with sunscreen already applied.
We require enrollment of four students to run a weeklong session. We will email you one week in advance and issue a full refund if we do not have the required enrollment.
Free 90 minute parking is available at 367 Albany Street.
