Class Experience
The Nature School’s Parent-Child Playgroup is a nature-centered play time for children and their parents or caregivers to connect with peers and the natural world. In a friendly, nurturing environment, children and caregivers are invited to participate in songs, games and sensory play, as well as to freely explore and engage with each other and their surroundings. Each seasonal session features a family celebration to mark the season together as a community.
Children under 18 months who have an older sibling in the playgroup attend free. All other siblings recieve a sibling discount.

Family Playgroup is refundable up to 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the first day of the session.

Meet your Instructor
Summer H.
Summer runs The Nature School, where she teaches and mentors children, families and educators through nature-centered, play-based, and wonder-filled programs. She has an MA in Educational Psychology and has been facilitating deep nature connection with children and families for more than 15 years.
Summer's talents include weaving community through seasonal celebrations, translating stories caught on the wind, and following children down woodland fairy trails.
