5 WAYS NBGC AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMMING IS BETTER

1. More than babysitting and homework help

Yes, your kids will get help on their homework. But don't your kids deserve more than a boring tutor? We think so! Our program starts with a snack and provides: physical, STEM, and art activities with a focus on character building to equip your children with skills they'll use their entire lives.

2. Families first

All families need quality childcare that works with their schedule. Our programming goes until 6pm!

Focus on the work that supports your family, uninterrupted, and pickup your kids stress-free.

3. Where you need us

Cleveland's after school program with NBGC is on-site. Your kids will meet us in the cafeteria and do activities in their familiar classrooms, gym, and playground. Pick-up is easy—located at Cleveland's Door 3 entrance.

4. A community born and raised in Chicago

N-B-G-C! We are a community! You’ll hear this ringing through the halls of our building every day.

Join a Chicago community that includes five CPS schools and over 92 years of history investing in our neighborhood through annual scholarship opportunities and events. NBGC is an independent non-profit organization and is not affiliated with any other Boys & Girls Club.

5. We grow with you

When your kids graduate 8th grade, they can join our Youth Development and Leadership program. They will get to lead after school activities and develop job skills, readying them for the future. Our program also includes mentorship and scholarship opportunities for college.

The Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club (NBGC) is the onsite provider of after school programming at Cleveland elementary school. We offer other programs, sports, camps, and Days Off School programs, at our location on 2501 W Irving Park Road. Learn more at nbgc.org.
