Class Experience
Lodges, nests, and dens are fine for critters, but what kind of home would you make if you lived outside? We’ll explore the kinds of homes animals make, and then get to the task of creating the perfect human shelter among the trees and trails of our 152-acre nature preserve.

Cancellations two or more weeks prior to the scheduled program date will be honored except for the deposit, which will be held for administrative fees. All deposits are non-refundable.

Meet your Instructor
Ashley B.
Ashley loves all things nature - plants, mammals, insects, you name it. But she especially loves butterflies! She has done research on monarch butterflies and studied the effect of nectar resources on monarchs. She got her masters and undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and majored in Ecology each time because she loved it so much. In her free time she enjoys hiking, reading, and learning new things.
